Our December CloseBy® Spotlight features The Penguin Again! This Oconto Falls, WI restaurant partnered with us in May of 2021 and has been utilizing the program to send the exclusive offers and announcements to their customers.

Owner Jennifer Sadorf-Rogatzi enjoys sending out creative messages to her customers, offering deals in a unique way! She particularly enjoys sending out messages containing riddles and trivia. Jennifer tells us, “I really like to send out Trivia Questions & Riddles via text to my customers – they all love it and find it so much fun! It gets customers thinking and also gets them to come in for food and drinks! Everyone loves trivia and our staff loves hearing customers guesses!”

The Penguin Again has gained 341 text list subscribers, during their time with CloseBy®! Jennifer tells every customer that walks through her doors about her program, offering an incentive to join. She says, “We have found the best way to build our list is to talk to every customer. We offer an incentive to get customers to join, by offering a small incentive it gives them a reason to join the program today. If we can get customers to join the text club on their first visit then we can send them texts to get them to come in over and over again … making a first time customer a repeat customer.”
